
Saudi Arabia has announced that Friday, June 6, 2025, will be Eid-ul-Azha, after the crescent moon was sighted in the kingdom on Tuesday evening, reports Gulf News.
According to the report, Saudi Arabia announced that Wednesday, May 28, will mark the first day of Zil Hajj, as the crescent moon was sighted in the kingdom on Tuesday evening.
Accordingly, Eid-ul-Azha 2025 will be observed on Friday, June 6, as it always falls on the 10th day of Zil Hajj. And, Arafat Day will be observed on Thursday, June 5, the report added.
In Bangladesh, the interim government has approved a 10-day holiday for the government employees from June 5 to June 14 for the forthcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
