
Huawei has recently hosted the Campus NextGen: The Future of Digital Education’ programme to showcase future connectivity trends for the digital transformation of Bangladesh’s education system.
Organised in collaboration with BRACNet at Huawei Bangladesh Academy in Dhaka, the event demonstrated the latest breakthroughs in technology and product innovations, proven success cases along with Huawei’s forward-looking vision, said a press release on Monday.
In the session, 80 representatives from 30 public and private universities discussed about more connected, robust smart campuses by reducing the challenges like limited access experiences, excessive network layers, operations and maintenance issues and cyber security risks.
Huawei presented its advanced 10gbps Smart Campus Network Solution, alongside technologies such as fiber to the office and data centre storage those are designed to simplify campus network architecture, deliver high-speed and reliable connectivity, ensure robust data security and streamline network operations for educational institutions.
Huawei honoured BRACNet for being a trusted partner of Huawei in the digital education sector in Bangladesh. Syed PF Ahmed, chief executive officer of BRACNet, and Mukarram Husain, general manager and head of operations of BRACNet, received the award jointly.
