
BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology and Coppin State University, USA, signed a transformative Memorandum of Understanding to foster academic and research collaboration recently.
The MoU, signed by Faruque Hassan, chairman of BUFT’s board of trustees, and professor Jamal Uddin, founding director of CSU’s Centre for Nanotechnology, aims to promote research, student and faculty exchanges, programme development, and joint academic initiatives, said a press release.
BUFT’s acting vice-chancellor professor Ayub Nabi Khan, emphasized the partnership’s role in advancing education in apparel, textile, and fashion technology.
Professor Jamal Uddin highlighted the collaboration’s potential to drive innovation and benefit both institutions and their communities.
