The national mosque Baitul Mukarram in Dhaka will host five Eid-ul-Azha jamaats on June 7 while the main congregation will be held at the Jatiya Eidgah on the High Court premises at 7:30am.

The first jamaat will begin at 7:00am and will be led by Khalilur Rahman Madani, according to the Islamic Foundation.


The second jamaat, at 8:00am, will be conducted by Mawlana Abu Saleh Patwary, while the third, scheduled for 9:00am, will be led by Mushtaque Ahmad.

Mufti M Abdullah will lead the fourth jamaat at 10:00am, followed by the fifth and final jamaat at 10:45am, which will be conducted by Mohammad Noor Uddin.

In the event that any designated imam is unable to attend, Muhammad Shahidul Islam will lead the respective jamaat.

According to an official press release on Tuesday, in case of inclement weather, the main Jamaat will be shifted to Baitul Mukarram from the Jatiya Eidgah at 8:00am.

The Eid Jamaat at the Jatiya Eidgah will be broadcast live on all television channels.

The schedule of Eid-ul Azha congregations at major mosques in the capital and across the country will be aired on Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar, and other TV channels on the eve of Eid.
