Bangladeshi young artist Suborna Morsheada is displaying her installation artwork titled Against All Odds– The Korail Chronicles at the Grand Palais in Paris of France.

Md Sajedul Haque is the co-artist with seven supporting artists to create the artwork led by curator-artist Suborna Morsheada supported by the Durjoy Bangladesh Foundation.


Over 400 artists and designers from across continents are participating in the five-day event titled Révélations International Fine Craft and Creation Biennial to celebrate global craftsmanship, culture, and creative innovation.

The event was inaugurated by French President Emmanuel Macron on May 21.

The artwork has been created from recycled waste materials of the Korail slum, which portray the resilience, imagination of the community.

Three artworks used material including metal scraps, jute, poly packets and textile remnants aim to turn meaningful narratives.

The project reframes Korail as a space of creativity and hope, challenging stereotypes and inviting audiences to see beauty in the overlooked.

The event will end on May 25.
